Kristen Stewart’s Future With ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’ Not So Bleak After All

Conflicting reports about Kristen Stewart being dropped from the "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel due to her scandalous affair with director Rupert Sanders may not be completely true. While THR claimed Stewart will not be reprising her role, Gossip cop reported the complete opposite, stating a script has yet to be written for the much-anticipated flick.

The Los Angeles Times took it one step further with this bold claim: "Universal insists that plans for a second movie centering on the Huntsman character played by Chris Hemsworth are proceeding and that Stewart's Snow White could still be a character in that film, despite reports that suggested otherwise."

The only thing we know for sure is that David Koepp, the writer for the original film, will not be returning for the next installment of  "SWATH," as reported by THR.

Universal Pictures might have been focused on a spinoff with Chris Hemsworth's character all along.

"[Universal President Ron] Meyer said that while the upcoming 'Snow White and the Huntsman' doesn't appear to lend itself to a sequel, Universal thinks it can do more movies based on the character of the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) if it is successful." Said Amy Kaufman of the Times.

"We are exploring options to continue the franchise and no decisions have been made," a rep for Universal Pictures told E! News.

As for reprising her role for the sequel Stewart said: "We don't have to do it. That's the coolest thing. There's no pressure. But to be able to expand on this would be awesome."

There's no report on whether director Rupert Sanders will return for the sequel.
