The Twitter world is yet again abuzz with news of the death of 73-year-old actor, Bill Cosby. And for the fifth time this year, several media outlets have confirmed that the comedian is indeed alive and well.

A few concerned Twitter followers came to Cosby's defense in an attempt to set things right:

"BILL COSBY IS NOT DEAD!! I REPEAT, HE IS NOT DEAD! ONCE AGAIN, HE IS NOT DEAD. HOLD UP, ONE MORE TIME...HE....IS....NOT...DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!," said an unknown user.

"Bill Cosby is alive. Stop with the death hoaxing. It's not even funny," Kevin C. Johnson tweeted.

Cosby, who did not directly address the rumors posted a photograph of himself as the virtuous character Cliff Huxtable with the caption, "I've never met anyone who didn't like this one!" No doubt putting his loyal fans at ease.

During a 2010 interview with CNN, the TV legend confirmed he was declared dead four times, saying, "I don't want [the person who spread the rumor] to do this anymore, because this is my fourth time being reported [dead.Maybe a psychiatrist will say I'm feeding [the originator's] ego, but I just want to say to friends of that person: Just tell him to stop, because it isn't funny".

The perpetrator, who turned out to be a Facebook user, was forced to admit to the scam, revealing, "My name is Jonathan Gorman and I am the page admin/creator. With the recent slowdown of likes and high amount of attention from news sources.I have come to the conclusion that I should tell you all the truth. Bill Cosby is not deceased.I made around 315 Thousand people angry".

In which he concluded with, "I love you all for making me laugh at your stupidity for the past day and a half. You're great."
