Heidi Klum To Seal: I’m Over You

After Seal went on a media rant and accused Heidi Klum of "Fornicating with the help" during a brief interview with TMZ, the leggy supermodel is speaking out.

"I cherish all of the great memories Seal and I created together over the years," Klum told People magazine.

"Our separation was based on issues between the two of us," she continued. "Seal has moved on and so have I. My priority has and continues to be protecting and providing for our children."

Klum has been seen on several occasions with Martin Kristen, the alleged man in question and her bodyguard of  four years. The two recently enjoyed an Italian getaway in Sardinia, along with her brood, "this has been a difficult time," a close friend of Klum said. "Her inner circle of people she trusts is getting smaller and smaller and he is her No. 1 confidante."

"I certainly don't expect Heidi to all of a sudden become a nun." Seal told TMZ. "But as always my main priority is the emotional well-being of my children, and to be quite honest if there is going to be someone else there in their lives there, I would much rather it was a familiar face."

Adding: "I would have preferred Heidi show a little bit more class and at least wait until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help."

A rueful Seal later recanted the cheating allegations, saying he was not "implying" the supermodel cheated on him during their marriage.

The couple filed for divorce in April and claimed irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

"While we enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching, we have decided to separate," they announced. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."

"When you publicize your marriage as much as our marriage was publicized, when you renew your wedding vows, when you do all those things, what you are saying to people is ... you're giving people a picture of an ideal relationship that people aspire to," Seal explained in February.

"When it goes south, you can't all of a sudden take the philosophy of a monk and decide to go for a vow of silence."
