Poised like a true princess, the regal Kate Middleton delivered her first speech during her visit to Hospis Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur - and didn't miss a beat.

"William and I are hugely excited to be in Malaysia-this, our first-ever visit-and are absolutely delighted to have been invited to join you all here," Kate said as she stood at a podium outside the facility wearing a pale blue dress with faint lace embroidery. "I have learned that delivering the best possible palliative care to children is vital. Providing children and their families with a place of support, care and enhancement at a time of great need is simply life-changing."

Like a true pro, the Duchess of Cambridge went on to express her pleasure in visiting the establishment."It's been wonderful meeting the patients, the families and all the staff here," she said. "You have given us the most wonderful welcome."

Kate's Duchess duties are far from over, from Sept. 16 through Sept. 18, the royal couple will be making another appearance in the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu.

Kate looked as svelte as ever despite swirling rumors of a royal heir on the way. According to Prince William, the world can soon expect "Two" little princes or princesses.

The Duchess is reportedly quite domestic at the home she shares with Prince William in Anglesey, Wales. According  to royal author Katie Nicholl, she has a penchant for cooking up "recipes learned from her mother," adding: "She brings a sense of ordinariness that William has always craved."

Of their marriage, a close friend of the royal couple revealed, "They are [touchy] like that in private - completely," and , "There is nothing contrived about it."

William and Kate were married in a lavish ceremony at London's Westminster Abbey in April 2011 -- and wrote a custom  prayer to seal their union: "God our Father, we thank you for our families; for the love that we share and for the joy of our marriage," they said. "In the busyness of each day keep our eyes fixed on what is real and important in life and help us to be generous with our time and love and energy. Strengthened by our union help us to serve and comfort those who suffer."
