Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger Disses Fiance Avril Lavigne’s Ex-Husband On Twitter After Halloween Photo Goes Viral
Avril Lavigne shocked fans when she announced her engagement to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger in August. The unlikely duo had been secretly dating for six months before getting engaged and revealing their exciting news to the media. Now, one other couple has decided to jump in on their happiness...Lavigne's ex-husband, Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley and his girlfriend, Ari Cooper.
Lavigne and Whibley, both Canadian musicians, married in 2006 and divorced in 2009. While both have moved on romantically since their split, it doesn't appear that Whibley was able to get his ex-wife off his mind.
The Sum 41 member and his model girlfriend, Ari Cooper, decided to celebrate Halloween over the weekend by dressing up as none other than Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. Whibley didn't rock a Kroeger costume as expected though. Instead, Whibley dressed as his ex-wife, Lavigne, and Cooper went as Lavigne's current beau, Kroeger.
While the photo has garnered a lot of laughs since going viral, it doesn't appear that Kroeger finds the Halloween costume that funny. The official Nickelback Twitter account tweeted out the following message Sunday afternoon:
"Hey Deryck loved the costumes! We were going to dress up as you guys this year but all the parties had celebrity themes haha! - CK"

Fellow musicians Shinedown seemed to enjoy Kroeger's humor as well as they commented, "hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha."
