Though we love that she took a risk in a shirt and pants at the BAFTA awards this year, the Escada number hid all her assets.
Why it fell flat: It read boxy, not bombshell.

The Armani outfit she wore to the Golden Globes felt a bit old-fashioned for the 32-year-old star. But she rocked it nonetheless.

We can't say enough good things about this Carolina Herrera frock, but once again "The Newsroom" actress missed the mark with a matronly hem.
