'Glee' Star Dot-Marie Jones Is Engaged to Longtime Girlfriend Bridgett Casteen
Another Glee star gets engaged! Dot-Marie Jones is engaged to longtime girlfriend Bridgett Casteen, Us Weekly reported.
The three-time Emmy-nominated actress proposed to Casteen near Disneyland Resort's Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, California on Friday, Oct. 4. This will be Jones' first marriage. Casteen has two children from a previous marriage.
The 49-year-old actress revealed the engagement during the Q&AQ session during Anaheim Gay Days, which is an annual weekend where LGBT allies and visitors go to the amusement park.
"It's the happiest day of my life," Jones told The Advocate. "I never thought I'd find somebody that is so loving and kind."
This is the second engagement from the Glee cast in only one week. On Oct. 4, Naya Rivera's representative also confirmed that the Glee actress is engaged to rapper Big Sean.
Jones is popular for her role as a gym teacher Shannon Beiste on the FOX series. She has been playing the character since 2010. In addition to that, she is also a 15-time world and 6-time national arm-wrestling champion.
