Dylan Sprouse Calls Joe Jonas' Disney Grievances B.S

Dylan Sprouse has taken exception to Joe Jonas blasting his experience as a Disney star, E! News reported Tuesday.

Sprouse, who starred in Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody from 2005-2008 and The Suite Life on Deck from 2008 to 2011, took to his Tumblr on Monday to challenge the assertions Jonas made in a revealing op-ed for New York Magazine. He claimed that he did drugs with Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus. Jonas also blasted Disney for grooming him to be someone that he was not and essentially forcing him to live a lie.

Sprouse spoke up on behalf of him and his twin brother, Cole.

"I think it's bulls--t that they were being robbed of choice or creativity. If they wanted to, they could have told Disney 'NO.' Cole and I did this hundreds of times and we ended up all right," Sprouse wrote.

Sprouse reasoned that Jonas was more interested in being famous and that his fellow Disney alum did not have his priorities in order.

"The only reason they didn't is because, like many of the people on that channel, I think they fell for the allure of fame. Granted, Cole and I had been acting our entire lives, so we saw it as a means to an end (money making) rather than an opportunity to become successful," he wrote.

Sprouse said that the responsibility was with Jonas to change the course of his life and career. He did not express much sympathy for the former boy bander.

"What that article felt like was: 'Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, still shame on you,'" he added. "My personal creed? 'Fool me once, you'll forever regret that decision.'"
