Amanda Bynes' first outing since checking out of rehab involves walking with her parents in Thousand Oaks, California with the family dogs, on Thursday, Dec. 5.

The former Nickelodeon star was wearing a white "Gang$ta Love" sweater, dark blue jeggings and tennis shoes. She hid her eyes behind oversized shades and tucked her hair under a baseball cap. Her parents, Rich and Lynn, were also wearing casual outfits with the father holding the leashes of the family dogs, Us Weekly reported.

The former child star left a Malibu treatment center after seeking help for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia in a court-ordered rehab. Before the court order, she was put on an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold in July after she set a fire on a stranger's driveway near her family's home in Thousand Oaks.

In a statement, Tamar Arminak, her lawyer confirmed that Amanda is doing fine now.  "Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who's contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda's recovery.  Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day," he said.

The star will stay with her parents and will continue outpatient treatment. "Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing," Arminak stated. "She's very happy to re-establish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared."
