As a type 1 diabetic, Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit hasn't had an easy pregnancy. In late summer, just before walking down the aisle with husband Josh McKee, a pregnant Douthit was hospitalized after her blood sugars dropped, and now, weeks before her due date, Douthit has been hospitalized once again.

On Thursday morning, Jan. 30, Douthit's mother, Angie Douthit, took to Twitter where she told fans she was "at hospital with [Mackenzie]" and "trying to stop low blood sugars."

"Hoping to keep baby girl in for at least another week!" she also said.

Although Douthit's due date has never been confirmed, it has been reported that she is due sometime around February 24.

Recently, Douthit went on a bit of a rant after she was dropped by the doctor who had previously been in charge of her diabetic care. During the social media outburst, Douthit had alleged that during one particular visit with her doctor, Dr. Thomson, she was sick and running late. When she informed the staff of her illness, they reportedly told her, "Well your Twitter says your going to the fair tonight so your lying."

In response, Douthit told them that she had been having a lot of trouble with her diabetes, and that she eats very healthy while taking a lot of insulin. "I don't believe that," they reportedly told her.

Then, when she insisted that her blood sugars dropped despite having done everything right, they told Douthit's mother, "That's a lie, she didn't eat."

After being told to take more insulin, Douthit said, "I can't take more my sugar is dropping and im eating a lot."

At that point, the staff once again brought Douthit's social media postings into question. "Your a liar cause two weeks ago your facebook status said you didn't have a appetite," they said. And when Douthit suggested they stop stalking her social media pages, they put Dr. Thomson on the phone to inform her that she had been dropped, and that they would no longer see her.

"Here I am about to pop and having the worst blood sugars not knowing if my daughter is gonna be ok because they did this and I have no diabetic care," Douthit said of the dispute. "Anyways please pray for me and baby girl."
