Did Jake Gyllenhaal Take Taylor Swift's Virginity And Then Dump Her?

A new report claims that Jake Gyllenhaal may have taken Taylor Swift's virginity and bolted.

According to a Radar Online insider, Swift was “saving herself for marriage," but after meeting and dating Gyllenhaal for three months, "he convinced her to go all the way."

“She thought she was going to marry Jake, that’s how in love she was with him,” the source told Radar. But unfortunately, not long after Swift had given Gyllenhaal her virginity, Gyllenhaal reportedly showed his true colors.

In Dec. 2010, Swift threw herself a birthday party at her family's estate in Nashville, Tenn., and Gyllenhaal was expected to be there. Sadly, he was a no-show, and Swift was left brokenhearted.

“The day before — all was set — he was coming, no issues. But the day of, she doesn’t hear from him at all. No texts, no calls,” the insider revealed. “Taylor thought maybe he was planning some sort of surprise. Nope. He didn’t show up and she locked herself in the bathroom and cried the entire night.”

As Swift is known to do, she turned her heartbreak into hits, penning a new album (RED), and reportedly using her relationship and breakup with Gyllenhaal as the inspiration. She even wrote a song about the incident with her party, called The Moment I Knew.

In the song, Swift sang, “You should’ve been there, Should’ve burst through the door. You said you’d be here.”

“What do you say, When tears are streaming down your face, In front of everyone you know?”

In a Nov. 2012 interview, Swift claimed that The Last Time was about an "experience I had with someone who was kind of this unreliable guy. You never know when he's going to leave, you never know when he's going to come back, but he always does come back." Although it was never confirmed, Billboard Magazine speculated that this song was also written about Gyllenhaal.

Swift and Gyllenhaal dated briefly from late 2010 to early 2011 and apparently had an amicable breakup.
