Scarlett Johansson Expecting First Child With Fiancé Romain Dauriac
Scarlett Johansson and fiance Romain Dauriac are expecting their first child together after over a year of dating.
On March 3, sources confirmed to PEOPLE Magazine that the Her actress and her journalist beau would welcome their first child together later this year.
Johansson and Dauriac began dating in Nov. 2012, following Johansson's divorce from actor Ryan Reynolds, who has since remarried. In Sept. 2013, the pair became engaged.
"I'm very happy," Johansson, 29, told PEOPLE in January, confirming the engagement. "He's my buddy. Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor."
However, during a Jan. 15 Good Morning America interview, Johansson revealed that she was in no rush to walk down the aisle for a second time. In fact, she hadn't even started planning. "I'm not doing any wedding planning," she explained.
In the October 2013 issue of Esquire Magazine, Johansson first opened up about her fiance, Dauriac, telling the magazine that he exposed a side of her she previously had been unfamiliar with.
"I didn't think I was a jealous person until I started dating my current, my one-and-only," she shared. "I think maybe in the past I didn't have the same kind of investment. Not that I liked my partner less, I just wasn't capable of it or caring that much."
