Kesha Is In A Great Place "Mentally And Physically" Post-Rehab
Kesha is doing "fantastic" after leaving rehab earlier this month.
With two months treatment under her belt, the pop star is said to be in a better place, both mentally and physically, as she gets her life back to normal in a new town.
On Wednesday, one of Kesha's friends spoke out on her behalf to the press and revealed why she has moved from Nashville to Los Angeles.
"She's doing great. She looks and feels fantastic," a friend of Ke$ha's told PEOPLE Magazine on March 12. "I think she got what she went [to rehab] for. She's remembered how to love herself. That's what she got in touch with while she was away."
Following her March 6 exit from rehab, where she recieved treatment for an eating disorder, Kesha returned to Twitter where she told fans she was "blessed" and changed her Twitter handle from @Keshasuxx to @KeshaRose.
Kesha, who is a Nashville native, also relocated to Los Angeles where, according to her friend, she has a "great support system" and people she "can talk to about anything."
"She's in a great place mentally and physically and is feeling really good about herself," the pal added. "She is excited for the next phase of her life and career."
On the day she left treatment, Kesha tweeted to fans, thanking them for the love and support she received while in treatment and teasing of "tons of new music."
