Miley Cyrus Is "Lonelier Than Ever"

Miley Cyrus is reportedly "painfully lonely" following her 2013 split from Liam Hemsworth.

Although Cyrus appears to be living it up while on tour, a source close to her claims she's still struggling with being alone.

“Being alone has always been a fear of Miley’s, and she tried to pretend after the split with Liam that she enjoyed her newfound freedom — but the fact of the matter is that she’s painfully lonely,” a close source to the singer told Radar Online.

In late 2010, after meeting on the set of The Last Song, Cyrus began an on-again, off-again romance with Hemsworth. In summer 2012, it was announced that they were engaged and months later, Cyrus revealed plans for not one, but three, weddings.

Then, in Sept. 2013, the pair called off the engagement.

Now, the source claims, Cyrus is living alone in a "big empty house, no boyfriend to speak of," and no real connections with anyone. Instead, Cyrus is surrounded by fellow partiers and friends of convenience.

Luckily, Cyrus is currently in the midst of her “Bangerz Tour” which is keeping her mind off occupied, for the most part.

“Being on her tour helps a bit right now because her backup dancers, singers and crew are keeping her time being…but the tour ends in June. Then what?” the source added. “Miley’s lonely and whether it looks like it or not, she’d like to find a guy to settle down with.”
