Emma Stone Weight Loss: Actress Claims It's Hard For Her To Gain Weight

Emma Stone reportedly wants the world to know she's naturally thin.

After making a name for herself in films like Superbad and Easy A, Stone dropped some serious pounds, but according to her, she hasn't succumbed to the pressures of Hollywood in the way that some have claimed.

"I've seen articles or comments that have addressed my weight, or 'caving to pressure to be thin.' Keeping weight on is a struggle for me—especially when I'm under stress, and especially as I've gotten older," Stone explained in the new issue of Seventeen Magazine, according to a May 5 report by E! News. "So when completely untrue statements are made about me or my health, of course a part of me wants to defend."

In Feb. 2013, Stone made headlines after reportedly dropping down to just 105 pounds, which body expert Alicia Hunter deemed "dangerous" for her 5'6'' frame. In a separate report by Hollywood Life, Stone was said to be "practically emaciated."

Since filming her first movie, Superbad, in 2007, Stone has starred in over 15 films, half of which she filmed in the last two years. In addition to filming her many movies, Stone has also been busy promoting them. For her latest film, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Stone has traveled to countries all over the globe, including Australia, Italy, Germany, England, China and Japan.

Despite her hectic, stressful schedule, Stone insists that she is completely healthy and taking care of her body in a respectful and responsible manner.
