Miley Cyrus Drug Overdose? Singer Fights Back!

Miley Cyrus is slamming reports of a drug overdose.

According to Life & Style's latest cover, Cyrus recently went on a "deadly binge," which left her hospitalized and needing treatment, but according to Cyrus, the report is far from factual.

"I didn't have a drug overdose. I took some sh***y antibiotics that a doctor gave me for a sinus infection and I had a reaction," Cyrus explained, via PEOPLE Magazine, during a May 6 press conference at the O2 arena in London, where she is set to make her Bangerz Tour return.

Although Cyrus was hospitalized for two weeks last month, she insisted that her need for medical attention was strictly the result of a serious allergic reaction, not the result of an overdose of drugs. In fact, even after her doctors discovered what had happened and diagnosed Cyrus, she chose to take a natural approach to regaining her health.

During the press conference, Cyrus explained that after her reaction, she treated herself with vitamins, yoga and honey, as opposed to more medication, and revealed that she was more excited than ever to be back on the road, embarking on a new set of shows in Europe.

"You have no idea how ready I am. There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life," Cyrus said.

Also on Tuesday, it was announced that Cyrus would perform at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, which air on May 18 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
