Hilaria Baldwin has reportedly opened up about the joys of childbirth in a new interview.

Eight months after welcoming her daughter Carmen with husband, Alec Baldwin, Hilaria spoke to Elle Magazine, calling her experiences with childbirth "magical," and revealing that she wants a second child.

"The whole thing was so magical and wonderful that I’m kind of glad I didn’t have that intense pain," Hilaria, who opted for an epidural, revealed to Elle, via Dail Mail Online. "As soon as she came out, I turned to Alec and said, 'I want another baby.'"

Alec began dating Hilaria, a Spanish instructor with Yoga Vida in Manhattan, in the summer of 2011, nearly a decade after splitting from wife Kim Basinger, with whom he has one daughter, Ireland Baldwin. After moving from the Upper West Side to Greenwich Village, the couple became engaged and on June 30, 2012, the pair got married at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City.

In Aug. 2013, Alec and Hilaria welcomed their first child together, daughter Carmen Gabriela.

Also in the interview, Hilaria gushed over how helpful her husband, Alec, was during the birthing process.

"He was so fantastic. He had one leg; the nurse had the other; the doctor was in the middle, ready to catch the baby," Hilaria recalled. "You never know until that moment whether your partner is going to be a good partner or not. I didn’t think he wouldn’t be, but I was really surprised how he was."
