LuAnn de Lesseps is reportedly coming clean about a secret intervention staged during filming of The Real Housewives of New York City season six.

According to de Lesseps, she and the rest of the cast banded together in an attempt to encourage their co-star, Ramona Singer, to seek help for her anger issues.

“We staged an intervention to put her and her behavior in check. She needs anger management. She needs a reality check,” de Lesseps revealed to Radar OnlineWe all banded together to say, ‘Wait a second. This is not normal behavior. You need some anger management, some therapy, something to control your outbursts.’”

During an episode of the currently airing season, Singer and new housewife Kristen Taekman were involved in quite the dramatic moment while out on the lake at the Berkshires. After swimming up to the boat where the ladies were chatting about her and her husband, Taekman splashed water on Singer's newly done hair. In retaliation, Singer hurled a plastic Champagne glass at Taekman's face, causing her lip to bleed.

“I think it’s a horrible reaction to somebody splashing you. I think it’s over the top. You don’t ever throw anything in anybody’s face where I come from, where most people come from,” de Lesseps said of the incident.

After the incident, Singer claimed to have left down after being traumatized, but the ladies later found out that she actually flew to The Hamptons to party and be with her other friends, as opposed to continuing her journey with the cast.
