Teresa and Joe Giudice won't receive their sentencing until September.

Although the Real Housewives of New Jersey pair were scheduled to appear in court on July 8 to receive their sentences for fraud, the U.S. Attorney's office confirmed on Thursday evening that their trial date has been postponed.

"Joe and Teresa's sentencing has been pushed back to September," a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's office announced in a statement to In Touch Weekly. "The reason is an administrative issue. I can't elaborate further as to what that means and I can't theorize on this. They will be sentenced on September 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in front of Judge Ester Salas."

Just one day before the announcement was made, Joe's father, Frank Giudice, collapsed suddenly and died in his backyard. Although Frank's cause of death has yet to be confirmed, the Giudice's crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, told Us Weekly he and Joe had been running around with the family's dog, Simba, prior to his passing. An additional report by TMZ stated that Frank was building a chicken coop when he collapsed.

Following Teresa and Joe's guilty plea this past March, a trial date of July 8 was set for their sentencing, with Teresa facing two years behind bars while her husband, Joe, was facing four, as well as a possible deportation back to Italy.

When the spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's office was asked whether or not Frank's death played a part in the postponement, they did not provide an answer.
