Bethenny Frankel may be heading to The View.

Just months after her talk show, Bethenny, was canceled, the former Real Housewives of New York City star is reportedly in talks to join Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy on the long-running ABC talk show, The View.

“The View is looking for someone to spice up the show. Someone with lots of opinions and Bethenny is at the top of the list,” a show insider recently revealed to Rob Shuter of VH1’s The Gossip Table, via a June 22 report by Mstarz.

After starring in her own Real Housewives of New York City spinoff, Bethenny Ever After, Frankel landed her own talk show. The series debuted in test markets in June 2012, and after an impressive test run, went into national syndication. However, Bethenny’s national ratings weren’t nearly what the network had hoped and the show was canceled after just one season.

Since her talk show wrapped in May, Frankel has been rumored to be a part of several projects, one of which was a reported return to Bravo with another talk show or possible co-hosting gig on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.

According to the insider, Frankel has had several meetings in regard to joining the show, but at this point, no official decision has been made.

Either way, Frankel is reportedly excited about the possibility of returning to television.

Frankel is “very intersted in getting back on TV. It is the only thing she really knows. She it telling fans she think she can save The View.”
