Kings of Leon member Nathan Followill was left injured after the band's tour bus stopped suddenly on Sunday morning.

According to the band's Facebook page, Followill was left with broken ribs after their tour bus came to a screeching halt while trying to avoid hitting a pedestrian.

"The band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short, injuring Nathan Followill," read Kings of Leon's Facebook message, via an Aug. 10 report by E! News. "Nathan is being treated for broken ribs, but is doing well."

On Sunday, following the band's Facebook message, Followill surfaced on Twitter, where he shared a photo of himself in the hospital and thanked his fans for supporting him through his painful injury.

"Thank you for all of the get well soons," he wrote. "I'm a little banged up but will be back better than ever."

Along with the photo, Followill denied an online rumor, which claimed he had passed away in the crash. He also revealed he had no idea that he used his ribs for "everything."

In addition to Followill's hospitalization, Kings of Leon announced they would be postponing their scheduled Mechanical Bull tour concert in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., which was scheduled to take place on Sunday evening.

Kings of Leon's next performance is scheduled for Aug. 13 in Wantagh, N.Y. At this point, they appear to be planning to move forward with the show.
