Demi Lovato is partnering with The Mental Health Listening & Engagement tour to raise awareness for those struggling with mental health.

In light of Robin Williams' recent death, discussion about suicide and mental health awareness has increased by the tenfold and Lavato is the latest celebrity to join the talks.

Lovato publicly battled bipolar disorder, and, as she said in a new video, she's finally learning to live and love with her condition.

"I've seen some dark times, especially with the depressive phase of the illness," she said in the video. "Bipolar depression really got my life off track, but today I'm proud to say I'm living proof that someone can live, love and be well with bipolar disorder when they get the education, support and treatment they need."

Lovato continued, "Through my music tours, you've seen me speak out against the shame and silence around mental illness. Now I've started to bring my mental health advocacy to a new level. I want to shine a light on the people out there who, like me, are learning to live well with mental illness by getting the right diagnosis and the right treatment plan."
