Teresa Giudice has been accused of more fraudulent behavior.

As she awaits sentencing in her and Joe Giudice's fraud trial, a report has surfaced, alleging Teresa gave her oldest daughter, Gia, a fake family heirloom, which she claimed belonged to her grandmother.

“The diamond ring had been given to Teresa about a year ago by a jeweler in New Jersey. Teresa wanted to give Gia the ring on camera to give publicity to the jeweler,” a source told Radar Online on Aug. 19. “Teresa’s mother never had the ring for any extended period of time. It was all done for the show, and it’s now back in Teresa’s possession.”

On Sunday night's Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa was seen presenting Gia with a diamond ring, which she claimed belonged to her grandmother. The scene was quite touching, but according to Radar, the sentiments were fabricated and completely phoney.

In addition to getting publicity for the jewelry store, Giudice may have also been paid for the scene. After all, an unofficial commercial on a highly-rated reality show doesn't typically happen for free.

In just over one month, Teresa and her husband will be back in court, where a judge will sentence them both. Currently, Teresa is facing up to two years behind bars. Joe faces four.

Teresa and Joe's sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 23.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season six airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
