Ramona Singer Divorce: 'RHONY' Star Leans Of Daughter Avery For Support
Ramona Singer is leaning on her daughter, Avery, for support as she prepares for her impending divorce from Mario.
Days after Mario went public with his mistress, Kasey Dexter, Ramona announced plans to move forward with her divorce, and now, the Real Housewives of New York City star has found a support system in Avery.
After helping her daughter move into her University of Virginia dorm, Ramona tweeted to Avery, saying, “You are my world! You can lean on me from a million miles away. #greatteam.” Then, according to an Aug. 22 report by Radar Online, Avery wrote, "Thanks for being my rock. [I] couldn’t have done this without you."
The Singers' marriage has been on the rocks for about one year. Last fall, reports began surfacing, claiming Mario had engaged in an affair with a young socialite from New York. The woman in question was later revealed to be Dexter. There were also reports claiming Mario had gotten Dexter pregnant last summer, although it was never confirmed and Dexter never had a child.
Although Ramona gave her husband a second chance, they eventually called it quits last month, with the reality star kicking Mario out of their New York City home. Days later, Mario and Dexter were spotted holding hands in the city and enjoying a romantic meal together.
Throughout it all, Avery has been Team Ramona.
"Mario's behavior is embarrassing to me and my daughter," Ramona told PEOPLE Magazine on Aug. 14. "We aren't embarrassed. We are embarrassed for him."
