Catelynn Lowell opened up about her depression during a new interview.

Speaking to In Touch Weekly, the pregnant Teen Mom revealed her struggles with depression and dropped a major bomb about wishing she were dead.

“My depression and anxiety were so severe,” Lowell told In Touch Weekly on Aug. 27. “I didn’t want to live another day. I started having severe panic and anxiety attacks in the middle of the night, which led me into a deep depression. I couldn’t stop crying. I felt I’d be better off dead. I needed help.”

Luckily, in the midst of her struggles, Lowell's fiancé, Tyler Baltierra, got her the help she needed. During one of Lowell's "terrifying breakdowns," Baltierra, who has battled depression himself, called a psychiatrist and set up Lowell's first appointment.

After seeing her doctor for the first time, Lowell was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, and prescribed the antidepressants, Zoloft and Abilify. In addition, her doctor recommended she see a couselor to help her sort out her emotions in a more effective manner.

“I’ve been taking my meds and talking to someone regularly, and it’s gotten easier,” Lowell said of her treatment and counseling.

Currently, Lowell is no longer taking Abilify, because of her pregnancy, but she plans to begin taking the antidepressant again after she gives birth.

Lowell and Baltierra are expecting their second child together, a girl, later this year.
