'Teen Mom' Feud: Farrah Abraham Reconciles With Amber Portwood, Has Faith In Her Sobriety

Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood are no longer on the outs.

Months ago, sources claimed Portwood, along with Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout, were refusing to return to Teen Mom if Abraham were featured, but now, the pair appear to be getting along just fine.

“I have faith in the strength Amber has to overcome all of her past habits,” Abraham told Radar Online on Aug. 29 of her former co-star. “Sobriety should be easy for her. But it is hard being in your twenties."

Earlier this year, reports began surfacing, claiming MTV was in talks to bring back Teen Mom. The show originally went off the air in Sept. 2012, but after four successful Being specials, featuring each of the four girls, the network decided to bring it back. However, Abraham was not included in the season five cast.

Despite moving on from the show, Abraham hopes to catch up with her former co-stars after filming wraps.

“Amber is filming and I’m separating myself from that right now,” Abraham explained. “I do other things now.”

In an interview with Life & Style, weeks after the Teen Mom season five announcement, Abraham said the show "won't be as great without" her and claimed she would not be watching. She also stated that she, unlike the other girls, didn't need the show to support herself.

“I don’t talk to Farrah and I don’t really know what’s going on with that,” Portwood told Radar. “I think she did some interview and she said a few things, but it doesn’t really matter to me.”
