Kristen Doute James Kennedy: 'Vanderpump Rules' Couple Going Strong After Filming On Season Three

Kristen Doute and James Kennedy celebrated the end of filming on Vanderpump Rules season three with a trip to Palm Springs, Calif.

For the Labor Day weekend, Doute and Kennedy, who began dating after season two wrapped, traveled to a luxurious hotel, where they enjoyed some good, old-fashioned rest and relaxation.

"Kristen Doute and boyfriend James Kennedy escaped for the long weekend together to the Hard Rock Hotel in Palm Springs," an insider revealed to Celebeat, via email, on Sept. 1. "Kristen and James enjoyed their time together away from the prying eyes and constant judgement of the cast."

Although Doute spoke of Kennedy during the season two reunion show earlier this year, the couple didn't film together, as a couple, until the show's most recent season. Before that, Doute dated Tom Sandoval.

As fans will likely recall, Doute and Sandoval had a very dramatic and toxic relationship, and while it is great to see that they have both moved on, their new relationships may lead to some friction when the show returns for season three. After all, with Doute, Sandoval, and each of their significant others working at the same restaurant, they are bound to butt heads -- at least occasionally.

Luckily, they are now away from the cameras (filming on Vanderpump Rules season three wrapped last month) and their co-stars, and able to enjoy each other without interruption.

"The poolside DJ even surprised the reality stars with spinning James Kennedy's hot remix of Iggy Azalea's Black Widow Feat. Rita Ora," the source added.

According to Kennedy, the Labor Day vacation was "just a little getaway from all the L.A. drama!!"

Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo this fall.
