Chris Brown has suddenly become a very busy man.

With his new album, X, which is set to be released on Sept. 16, comes a full schedule of promotional appearances.

Hollywood Life has learned Brown will make appearances on both Saturday Night Live and Dancing With The Stars. "In support and promotion for X, Chris will be doing the typical promotional appearances and performances on both SNL and DWTS," an insider said.

"Everyone is very excited for this to happen and Chris really wants to make the appearances very memorable. Should be a very fun time," the source added.

The 25-year-old singer is taking his new hits, including "Loyal" and "New Flame," to primetime and late-night television.

However, he is in talks for "performance purposes only," the source added. "They will not be tapping him to host."

There is no word on the exact date of his appearances, but it will apparently be by October. Saturday Night Live will premiere its 40th season on Sept. 27, with rumors of performances by Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea, as well.

Dancing With The Stars premieres on Sept. 15, just one day before X's release, but again, there is no confirmation on when Brown will perform.

Amid an array of negative media attention, a good dose of a music-focused spotlight should do Brown some good.
