Khloe Kardashian is distancing herself from the allegedly "needy" French Montana.
How Did Khloe Kardashian And French Montana Meet?
After months of dating, a source claims the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has split from her rapper boyfriend over his "needy" ways and dependency on her.
"They are on a break," a source revealed to Us Weekly on Sept. 10. "The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back." A second source claimed Montana was too "needy" for Kardashian. "It grated on her that he became so dependent on her," the pal explained.
French Montana Not Using Khloe Kardashian For Fame
Kardashian and Montana began dating in March 2014, three months after Kardashian filed for divorce from husband Lamar Odom. Although the couple kept things on the down low for the first several weeks, they eventually went public with their relationship and Montana began appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Montana has also filmed for the upcoming Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons.
In the months since their relationship was made public, many have questioned Montana's intensions. According to Us Weekly's source, even Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, "did not approve and told Khloe all the time."
Making matters worse for Montana was an interview, in which he claimed he wanted to "capitalize" on the attention he was getting as a result of his relationship with Kardashian and appearances on her shows. After the interview, Kardashian took to Twitter, where she told fans, "It's amusing to me that Y'all think I don't see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don't care."
Now, she appears to feel differently.
"She just wants time apart from him," the source added.
