Will Fashion Police be canceled?

'Fashion Police' Staff Member Speaks Out Following Joan Rivers' Passing

According to Giuliana Rancic, the answer to that question is up to Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa, who works as the show's executive producer.

"They are looking at different scenarios," Rancic said on Sept. 19, according to an Us Weekly report. "A lot of that will be up to [Melissa] and how she's feeling and how she decides what she wants to do, along with the execs here at E!"

Kelly Osbourne Speaks Out About Joan Rivers' Death

Rivers passed away earlier this month, one week after undergoing a routine throat procedure. In the weeks since, rumors have swirled regarding the doctor behind the procedure.

Most recently, it was reported that Dr. Gwen Korovin, the Ear Nose and Throat specialist who reportedly performed the unauthorized throat biopsy, took a selfie in the operating room -- with an unconscious Rivers.

On Thursday, a lawyer for Dr. Korovin declared that she "categorically denies" any wrongdoings.

As for the future of Fashion Police, Rancic said nothing has been decided yet, and she, and the rest of the cast, remain unsure of whether or not they would like to move forward with the show without Rivers.

"A part of me is like Joan would want Melissa and us and the team to go on and I know she would, but it's just a matter of can there be a show without Joan? Do we want to do a Fashion Police without Joan? I don't know."

Tonight, Rancic, along with Melissa Rivers, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos, will celebrate the life of Rivers in Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan.

The show airs tonight, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m.
