Katherine Heigl posted a photo of her daughters, the 5-year-old Naleigh and the 2-year-old Adalaide, on Instagram wearing her high-heeled footwear on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

The 36-year-old star of NBC's new drama series State of Affairs captioned her post: "The girls just love to play dress up - especially with momma's shoes!"

In the pic, Naleigh can be seen smiling with a hand on her hip wearing Heigl's leopard-print heels while little sister Adalaide who has only one of Heigl's shoes on tries to keep her balance by holding on to the wall.

Heigle and singer-songwriter husband Josh Kelley, 34, adopted Naleigh from South Korea. Born with a congenital heart defect, the baby had to undergo open heart surgery before she was brought to the States. Christened, Nancy Leigh after Katherine's mother Nancy and Katherine's sister Margaret Leigh, she now goes by the nickname Naleigh.

Heigle and Kelley's second daughter Adalaide Marie Hope on the other hand was adopted locally in the States.

In an interview with People back in April 2012, Heigle admitted that adoption was always in the plan she had for a family with Kelley. Said she: "Josh and I started talking about it before we were even engaged. We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first." Having three or four kids, according to her, would be ideal.

More recently, Heigle told US Weekly that Naleigh likes Frozen so much they put it on every night after dinner and bath so she can sing along with every song. Adalaide, on the other hand is at that stage when she can be a bit "overwhelming." According to her, "One minute she's this sweet, cuddly, lovable thing, and the next minute she's independent and stubborn, kind of like a wild animal!"

Heigle can now be watched every Monday night at 10 PM on NBC in State of Affairs where she plays CIA analyst Charleston Tucker. The new political drama is being co-produced by two ex-CIA agent - former counterterrorism head Henry Crumpton and Rodney Faraon, who was a member of the daily briefing team in the Clinton and second Bush Administrations.
