Kim Kardashian Jets to Art Basel, Shares Picture of Daughter North West Bonding with Pal Larsa Pippen's Daughter Sofia
Kim Kardashian and her 16-month-old daughter North West headed to Miami Beach Thursday, Dec. 4, with her friend Larsa Pippen and her daughter Sofia for Art Basel, the world's premier international art show for Modern and contemporary works.
Kardashian is slated to attend a dinner party later that day hosted by Paper magazine, where she recently posed nude, and to celebrate her "Break the Internet" issue according to US Weekly.
While in Miami, Kardashian managed to capture on film a priceless moment between her daughter North and her friend Larsa Pippen's daughter Sofia as the two girls share a ride on a tire swing. The 34-year-old reality star captioned the pic: "Sofia & North Take Miami." North West was shown dressed in grey sweats and diamond earrings while Sofia was in denim shorts and a graphic T-shirt with an image of a cat in shades.
Ever the doting mother, Kardashian loves to dress up her daughter in designer outfits. A previous report by Us Weekly says North has over 200 pieces of designer clothing that she's never worn, including a $375 silk Oscar de la Renta dress, a $200 leopard viscose frock from Roberto Cavalli, an Alexander Wang leather dress, and Giuseppe Zanotti custom-made shoes.
In an interview with Elle UK, Kardashian revealed that she was told by three different doctors a few years back that she could never be pregnant. She wanted to have her eggs frozen but then, she got pregnant with North. Now she said, she and husband Kanye West want a sibling for North, by any means. "We'd do IVF if nothing happens, but we both want to keep trying naturally," she said, adding that they want a boy and another girl and they want it "happening straightaway."
The young North's friend Sophia is the daughter of Larsa Pippen, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Miami, and Scottie Pippen, a retired NBA professional basketball player.
