Jennifer Lawrence has once again proven that she is more than just a pretty face-not only has she proven her wit and charm and acting ability by winning an Oscar because apparently, she can sing too!

If any of you has seen the latest Hunger Games movie, Mockingly Part 1, there is a scene in the movie wherein Katniss (Lawrence) sings a rather eerie song called "The Hanging Tree" which the other rebels quickly catches and immediately becomes their rallying tune. Apparently, someone had the awesome idea of making that into an actual song and now it is making its way up the charts; and it's not just any other chart-the instant hit managed to crack the top 40 of the US Billboard Hot 100! Which, by the way, officially makes her a pop star.

The song is credited to composer James Newton Howard, although the lyrics were written by Hunger Games author Suzanne Collins, with an arrangement by The Lumineers.

With her hit safely up in the Billboard Hot 100, Lawrence is now the 13th recording artist who has both a Billboard Hit and an Oscar win. Lawrence, however, admits that we should not be expecting a full album from her just yet.

"I can't stand singing," she admits to Us Weekly. "The idea of singing in front of people is my biggest fear in the entire world [...] I was shaking. I was like, 'I want my mom.' I've never listened to it. When that scene comes on, I plug my ears."

In fact, she was quick to add that she was 'nearly in tears' when asked to sing in the movie. Either way, Lawrence agrees that shooting The Hanging Tree scene was not exactly a beautiful experience for the actress.

Lawrence admitted that shooting The Hanging Tree scene was an uncomfortable experience for her. "That was a terrible day," she told MTV.
