'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Crew, Chewbacca & J.J. Abrams Share Special Thank You Video This Holiday Season, Watch Here (VIDEO)

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens movie from director J.J. Abrams just wrapped filming and they have released a special thank you video to their fans. The video shows the crew giving thanks for the current holiday season, even Chewbacca and Abrams share a special message. You can check out the video above. 

Star Wars: Episode VII officially released their first full trailer for the highly anticipated movie last week. The movie is set thirty years of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983).  

Star Wars: Episode VII is directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015. 

The film will be returning many of the original cast, including Harrison Ford, who broke his leg on set and had to postpone filming for a month until he healed. Among the cast members who will not be returning for Star Wars 7 are Billy Dee Williams Ewan McGregor (ghost Obi-Wan). Star Wars: Episode VII screenplay was written by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan. Producers will be Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk. John Williams is back to compose the music for the sci-fi film. 

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens is slated to hit theaters in the U.S. in December 2015. This will definitely be one of the most anticipated movies of 2015. You can always check out the latest at the 'Star Wars' official website HERE
