Steven Spielberg's 2002 hit science fiction movie Minority Report is to be made in to a TV series, which will be directed by Mark Mylod of the fame "Once Upon a Time" and "The Affair". The series will be on Fox channel. The script has been written by Max Borenstein of the famed Godzilla. The show runner will be Kevin Falls and the executive producers will be Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank from Borenstein and Amblin TV.

The movie, which starred none other than Tom Cruise was based on a special force of people who had the job of solving crimes before the crimes actually took place. The series will take off from the point "10 years after" the movie had ended.

The series will be showing that one of the mutated precognitive beings is trying to lead a normal human life and is obviously struggling too hard; she is still getting haunted by visions that tell her about crimes that are about to take place in the future.

Two of the total three mutated precognitive people were shown as twins in the movie, which gives the series to pull of some really interesting stuff. The twins were Dashiell and Arthur. Also, the movie had ended on the note that all the three mutated precognitive people were left off at an island for some peace and quiet and if the series is picking up from there, there is a great potential for some interesting stuff to happen from the pilot episode itself.

It will be evident only after the series is aired if or not it is welcomed by open arms or only the loyal fans of the movie would like it and whether or not it will be a great hit like the movie.
