The ABC hit show Castle Season 7, episode 13 airs 10:00-11:00 Monday, February 2, and is entitled "I, Witness." Directed by Tom Wright from a script written by Terence Paul Winter and Amanda Johns, it will follow Castle in his next case as a private investigator for a woman with a cheating husband.

Nathan Fillion stars as Richard Castle, Stana Katic as his wife NYPD Detective Kate Beckett, Susan Sullivan as his mother Martha Rodgers, Molly Quinn as his daughter Alexis Castle, Penny Johnson Jerald as NYPD Captain Victoria Gates, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, and Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan.

The guest cast for the show's 13th episode include Brianna Brown as Eva Whitfield, Ivan Sergei as Cole Whitfield, Gregory Zarian as Scott Galloway, and Audrey Marie Anderson as Aubrey Haskins.

According to the studio's plot summary, Castle is hired to uncover if a client's husband is having an affair, but the case takes a shocking turn when Castle witnesses the client's murder - by her husband. But with no proof that the killing took place, Castle and Beckett must investigate to expose the truth.

Ratings-wise, Castle continue to remain strong and steady so much so that ABC president Paul Lee told Matt Webb Mitovich at TV Line that "It will be coming back," apparently implying a renewal for another season of the police procedural romantic comedy drama TV series. He also said: "We love Castle, we love those two [Fillion and Katic whose contracts will both expire this spring], and we want to see Castle on the air for many years to come."

In related news, TV Line also reports that there will be a two-part story that will air sometime this February that "will tackle a 'big case,' bring back 24′s Annie Wersching as Dr. Kelly Nieman and touch upon the ongoing mystery of Rick's vanishing/amnesia." Regarding that two-episode arc, Entertainment Weekly additionally says that Michael Mosley has signed on to reprise his role as the serial killer Jerry Tyson, who was seen in Season 3 and Season 5 and who is associated with Dr. Nieman.
