Warner Bros. Pictures' Justice League will be released in two parts, one part will come out on November 17, 2017, while part 2 will be seen in theaters beginning June 14, 2019.

Zack Snyder who is helming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on March 25, 2016, has been re-hired by the studios to also direct the Justice League: Part 1 and the Justice League: Part 2 movies. Chris Terrio who penned the script for the Man of Steel sequel has also been named as screenwriter for the upcoming Justice League films.

Expected to be back to reprise their roles in the Justice League: Part 1 film are Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Israeli actress Gal Gadot who made her film debut in Fast & Furious 4 as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, theater actor Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, and Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman. Amy Adams who plays intrepid reporter Lois Lane is confirmed part of the cast. Other superhero members in the DC Comics' Justice League series who are slated to be seen in their own stand-alone films like The Flash on March 23, 2018, and Green Lantern on June 19, 2020, may also likely be a proper introduction by way of the Justice League: Part 1 movie.

At this point, the plot for the upcoming ensemble cast superhero team film is still being hammered out in the drawing board by Terrio and Snyder. However, there are already speculations going the rounds of the internet rumor mills as to who the main antagonist will be in the upcoming DC universe flick. For instance, according to Screen Rant, El Mayimbe at Latino Review wrote: "I'm told the set up is in Batman V Superman. The rumor is that Brainiac is going to be the bad guy in Justice League. And the set up of it is cool: remember how the Kryptonian beacon that Clark set off brought Zod to Earth? Brainiac heard it as well. That's what I'm hearing... Basically Brainiac is going to be set up somehow at the end of Batman V Superman, from what I'm hearing, and then it goes into Justice League."

Justice League: Part 1 will have Wesley Coller and Geof Johns as executive producers while Doug Mitchell, Charles Roven, and Deborah Snyder will serve as producers.
