'Pitch Perfect 2' New Trailer 2015 Released Starring Anna Kendrick & Barden Bellas, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Pitch Perfect 2 has officially released their new trailer for the upcoming comedy movie, which you can check out above. The Barden Bellas are going up against international competition and the singers look overwhelmed at what they are facing, but we know they will be able to come back strong.
Most of the main cast is back for the sequel including Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, Hailee Steinfeld, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, and director Elizabeth Banks.
The official release date for Pitch Perfect 2 to hit theaters is May 15, 2015.
Pitch Perfect 2 is directed and produced by Elizabeth Banks along with co-producers Kay Cannon, Paul Brooks, Max Handelman, Scott Niemeyer and Jeff Levine. The movie is written by Kay Cannon from Gold Circle Films and distributed by Universal Pictures.
Pitch Perfect released in September 2012 and became a surprise hit with a relatively unknown cast following a college female a cappella group, The Barden Bellas, as they fight to make their way to nationals.
Co-star Anna Kendrick told Us Weekly before filming began, "I think, like musically, the theme is going to be a different kind of theme musically. I mean, I'm sort of speculating, like I don't really know. I've heard, like, whispers of rumors. But I think tomorrow we're going to get into the actual music. I mean I've signed on with no script, so you know, if it becomes about parasailing instead of singing, don't blame me!"
The Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack will feature tracks from Miley Cyrus, Muse, Bell Biv Devoe, Beyoncé and more, so you can expect it to be just as good or better than the original.
