‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 20 Premiere Recap and Results

Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars premiered Monday, March 16, with Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews returning as hosts, and Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and former pro dancer Julianne Hough taking their assigned places in the judges' seats.

The contestants and their scores from last night's dance contest are as follows:

•  Rumer Willis and pro Val Chmerkovskiy: 8, 8, 8, 8 - 32

  • Riker Lynch and pro Allison Holker: 8, 7, 8, 8 - 31
  • Nastia Liukin and pro Derek Hough: 7, 7, 8, 8 - 30
  • Robert Herjavec and pro Kym Johnson: 7, 7, 7, 7 - 28
  • Chris Soules and pro Witney Carson: 7, 6, 6, 7 - 26
  • Michael Sam and pro Peta Murgatroyd: 6, 6, 7, 7 - 26
  • Noah Galloway and pro Sharna Burgess: 7, 6, 6, 7 - 26
  • Willow Shields and pro Mark Ballas: 6, 6, 6, 7 - 25
  • Patti LaBelle and pro Artem Chigvintsev: 7, 6, 6, 6 - 25
  • Suzanne Somers and pro Tony Dovolani: 6, 6, 6, 7 - 25
  • Charlotte McKinney and pro Keo Motsepe: 6, 5, 5, 6 - 22
  • Redfoo and pro Emma Slater: 6, 5, 5, 6 - 22

Singer-actress Rumer Willis and her pro dance partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy got the highest score for the night. Dancing a chandelier-lighted Foxtrot number, the pair earned 32/40. Judge Len Goodman told the two, "This could be your season." Rumer's parents Bruce Willis and Demi Moore cheered appreciatively from the audience.

LMFAO singer Redfoo and his pro dance partner Emma Slater who did a 'Juicy Wiggle' cha cha got the lowest score in the competition, earning 22/40 for their efforts. "You dance like your hair: a little wild and unkempt," Goodman told them.

R5 bass player Riker Lynch and his pro dance partner Allison Holker performed a jive on stage to a circle of fans and got a score of 31/40. "I can't wait to see you do the next dance next week," they were told by judge Tonioli.

Grammy-winner Patti LaBelle, 70, danced the Foxtrot with pro partner Artem Chigvinstev and earned a 25/40 score from the judges. Actress Suzanne Somers, 68, and her pro partner Tony Dovolani did a cha cha for which they got a 25/40-score.

Five-time Olympic-winning medalist gymnast Nastia Liukin and her pro dance partner, the five-time Mirror Ball trophy winner Derek Hough, gave the audience a Foxtrot performance that scored 30/40. "It was sweet and delicious," they were told by Goodman.
