Ana Ayora Joins Season 4 Cast of 'Banshee'

Ana Ayora, whose film credits include Marly & Me, Meddling Mom and The Big Wedding, has just booked a season-long arc on the upcoming Season 4 of Cinemax's Banshee according to Deadline.

Banshee, an original action-drama television series created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler, follows a mysterious ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of Lucas Hood, the slain sheriff of the fictional small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where he continues his criminal pursuits while enforcing his own code of justice. The series stars Antony as the Hood impersonator.

Also co-starring are Ivan Milicevic as Anastasia / Carrie Hopewell, Hood's former criminal accomplice and lover; Ulrich Thomsen as Kai Proctor, a crime kingpin and businessman in Banshee; Frankie Faison as Sugar Bates, a retired former boxer and ex-con, turned bar owner; Hoon Lee as Job, a cross-dressing computer hacker and Hood's criminal accomplice; Rus Blackwell as Gordon Hopewell, Banshee's district attorney and Carrie's husband who is a Gulf War hero and retired Marine; Matt Servito as Brock Lotus, a Banshee deputy, and the longest-serving member of the force; Ryann Shane as Deva Hopewell, the rebellious teenage daughter of Carrie and Hood, but was raised with Gordon as her father; Lili Simmons as Rebecca Bowman, a young Amish girl who lis Proctor's niece and apprentice in crime; and Matthew Rauch as Clayton Burton, Proctor's mysterious secretary/bodyguard.

Beginning Season 3, the cast now includes Meaghan Rath as Aimee King, the sole officer in the corrupt Kinaho Reservation Police Department; Chaske Spencer as Billy Raven, a former officer of the Kinaho Reservation PD before becoming a Banshee Sheriff´s deputy, who is now considered and outcast by his own people; and Tom Pelphrey as Kurt Bunker, a former skinhead who was admitted as a deputy in the Sheriff´s Department following the death of deputy sheriff Siobhan Kelly, played by Trieste Kelly Dunn.

When Banshee returns for Season 4, Ayora is set to portray Nina Cruz, described a smart, tough, streetwise deputy for the Banshee Sheriff's Department who really is an inside plant working for Kai Proctor. Her character is further described as skilled with lethal fighting techniques and a killer instinct, a perfect blunt instrument for carrying out Proctor's more nefarious and violent errands.
