With many accomplishments already in his hands, the actor still managed to impress the jury at the Critics' Choice Awards, naming him as Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film "Creed." And now speculations started to flow that the actor might as well make it to his first-ever Oscar award.

A lot of people think that Sylvester Stallone's triumph at the Critics' Choice Awards seems to be his ticket towards the Oscars. This event looks like telling Stallone, "this is it, no more turning back... Oscars award is just few steps away go and get it."

According to a report on ET Online, the actor was very humble and appreciative in accepting his award. He even said he never expected to be awarded as there are many great actors out there who are better than him. His words were really heartwarming.

During his speech, he made it a point to thank the people he worked with. He emphasised his directors and co-stars.

He described his director, Ryan Coogler, as being an exceptionally talented and a brilliant guy. He praised his co-stars Michael B. Jordan, who he claimed flawless and knows the ins and outs of the industry, and Tessa Thompson, for being so energetic and vibrant.

Included in the cream of the crop of the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards ceremony, to name a few, are Leonardo DiCaprio as Best Actor for the movie "Revenant," Brie Larson as Best Actress for the movie "Room" and Rami Malik as Best Actor for TV Drama Series "Mr. Robot." "Master of None" won Best Comedy Show, and the Best Picture Award was given to "Spotlight," reports Variety.

For all the actors and actresses, nominees or not, awardees or non-awardees, we are thankful as the industry has brought entertainment and happiness in each and every one of us. We are looking forward to seeing more award-winning movies and TV shows in the future.
