Fans are already looking forward to the next chapter of "Vikings" yet History has yet to make an announcement about the show's return. So when exactly is the "Vikings" Season 5 air date? There are speculations that the series will be back this summer. Meanwhile, new cast member Adam "Edge" Copeland has been preparing for his role as legendary Viking Ketill Flatnose in a very interesting way.

There have been speculations that "Vikings" Season 5 will air in November, at around the same time that the second half of the fourth season premiered last year. Some believe this is due to the series still being filmed. However, it looks like the stars of the show have already taken a break from shooting. Is it possible that the fifth season has already been completed and will premiere in early summer?

It's no secret that "Vikings" Season 5 was being filmed at around the same time as the second half of the fourth season. Alex Hogh Andersen, who plays Ivar the Boneless in the series, has shared several awesome images from the show's set. However, Andersen's most recent Instagram post shows an image of the young actor with WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland. The caption for the photo appears to be thanking the former wrestler and new "Vikings" cast member because Andersen "had a blast." Did Andersen just confirm that the fifth season has finally wrapped?

Adam Copeland appears to be taking his new role as Ketill Flatnose very seriously. The "Vikings" Season 5 star recently posted on Twitter that he is reading Neil Gaiman's new novel "Norse Mythology." Although Copeland's role is based on a real historical figure, it is still great to see that the WWE Hall of Famer is fully invested in the series (via TVLine).

There is a possibility that the "Vikings" Season 5 air date will be announced by the end of March or early April. The first half of the new season could then premiere around May or early June.
