'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Writers Troll George RR Martin 'The Winds Of Winter' Delay, PewDiePie In New Promo

There is little doubt that the writers of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 can find humor in just about anything. So it is no surprise that the show's Twitter account has decided to troll George R.R. Martin for the extended delay of his highly anticipated novel "The Winds of Winter". In addition to that, the new promo for the equally-delayed third season has parodied YouTube star PewDiePie.

The "Rick and Morty" Season 3 air date might be really delayed, but an almost-two-year hiatus is nothing compared to the long wait for "The Winds of Winter". The sixth novel of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series has been in the works for more than a decade. Naturally, the writers of the Adult Swim animated show decided to troll the "Game of Thrones" author for keeping people waiting.

George R.R. Martin and "The Winds of Winter" are not the only ones who have been trolled by the "Rick and Morty" writers. The Twitter account, which is run by the show's co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roilland, have also urged for "Fargo" Season 3. Unfortunately, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 still doesn't have an air date. Nevertheless, there is a new teaser for the animated series has been released and it pokes fun on PewDiePie and other horror gamers (via Hypable).

The new "Rick and Morty" Season 3 promo features a livestreaming gamer named GlorpDieBlorp who investigates Morty's home for a game called "Ten Tuesdays at Tinkles". The YouTube teaser offers no update on the animated show's air date, which is expected to be later this year.
