‘Young Justice’ Season 3 Casting Update: Dave Franco Is Down For The Riddler Or Nightwing Role!

"Young Justice" Season 3 has yet completed its cast and it appears that nobody has called Dave Franco to reprise his role as The Riddler. But if ever the team behind the animated series decides to get him back on the show, the "Now You See Me" star is down for the role. Additionally, he also said that he's open to accepting the character of Nightwing for another DC project.

"Young Justice" Season 3 may or may not see The Riddler as the show's big bad anymore as the finale of the previous season revealed a dark figure who could be the new supervillain of the series. It can be recalled that Vandal Savage traveled to Apokolips where he met the above mentioned unseen character. Spoilers claimed that he is Darkseid if the comic book of "YJ" is to be considered.

If "Young Justice" Season 3 will no longer need the appearance of The Riddler in its plot, then there's no need for actor Franco to take part in the show. But as per a report by Comicbook, fans are reportedly rooting for him to play as Nightwing for DC's new live-action movie project. And interestingly, the "Neighbors" seems interested in the role and is not closing his door to the opportunity.

Meanwhile, some actors have already confirmed their roles for the upcoming "Young Justice" Season 3. Remember "The Walking Dead" star Khary Phyton who once gave voice to Aqualad? He is definitely returning as earlier reported by Celebeat! So fans, stay tuned on what Kaldur'ahm will have to do for the crew in the upcoming season.

"Young Justice" Season 3 air date, however, is yet to be announced and seemingly, series fanatics should wait longer before the producers and creators confirm the show's return. It shouldn't be a cause for worry, though, as the animated series will surely return in 2018. For more updates about your favorite TV shows, keep checking here at Celebeat!
