Harry Styles Feels Romance With Taylor Swift Was A Mistake?

Every time Taylor Swift dates a guy people are always interested if he is going to be "the one" or will he just be another subject in the popular singer's new breakup song. So when the "Wildest Dream" hitmaker was spotted with Harry Styles, both fans and critics were excited as to where their relationship was heading. Unfortunately, just like other T-Swift romance, it headed to Splitsville. Now, the One Direction star opens up about their failed relationship.

Harry Styles graces the cover of Rolling Stone and finally breaks his silence of his quick romance with Taylor Swift. In one of the 23-year-old singer, songwriter, and actor's very first one-on-one interview, nothing is off limits including talking about the "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" singer. The singer admits that dating in the public eye isn't easy, especially because photos of his date with the "Bad Blood" chart topper in New York City's Central Park are all over the Internet. Despite their failed relationship, Harry has nothing but nice things to say about the experience.

"Certain things don't work out. There's a lot of things that can be right, and it's still wrong," he shared. "In writing songs about stuff like that, I like tipping a hat to the time together. You're celebrating the fact it was powerful and made you feel something, rather than 'this didn't work out, and that's bad.'"

Harry Styles also opened up to the magazine about everything from the direction he wanted to take with his own music as well as the mega-successful English-Irish pop boy band's decision to take an indefinite amount of time off. Apparently, it was the 1D heartthrob's idea initially to take the break stating that he did not want to exhaust their fans. The star believes that their fan base deserve more than watching four extremely physically drained guys going on tour.

Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan obviously agreed with Harry Styles and the band has been on hiatus since 2015. But as for whether or not the hiatus is permanent, at this point the singer gives fans an idea that he is certainly not closing his door for a comeback. "I love the band and I would never rule out anything in the future," he said.
