Avan Jogia is certainly on a roll. The former "Victorious" star is set to lead the new Syfy drama "Ghost Wars", which will also feature Vincent D'Onofrio from "Daredevil" Season 2 as well as "Sons of Anarchy" actor Kim Coates. In addition to that, Jogia will appear in five different feature films in the future.

He may be best remembered by Nickelodeon viewers as Beck Oliver from "Victorious" but Avan Jogia has gone on to start a successful career as a serious actor. The "Rags" star has since played the lead in the psychological drama "Twisted" and portrayed the ill-fated Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun in the Spike mini-series "Tut", which also starred Ben Kingsley (via New York Times). Now Jogia is set to a young psychic who must save an Alaskan town in "Ghost Wars".

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Ghost Wars" has been acquired by Syfy for 13 episodes. The Simon Barry drama will follow Avan Jogia's Roman Mercer, a young man who happens to have psychic powers. Roman already struggles with his own personal demons but needs to use his powers to save the Alaskan town he calls home. "Daredevil" Season 2 star Vincent D'Onofrio and Kim Coates of "Sons of Anarchy" also star in undisclosed roles. There is no word yet on when the show will air on Syfy, but fans can still see more of Jogia later this year.

Avan Jogia will reunite with his "Victorious" co-star Victoria Justice in the comedy "The Outcasts" after playing a young convict in "The Drowning", which is set to premiere in May. Jogia will also appear alongside ex-girlfriend Zoey Deutch in "The Year of Spectacular Men". In addition to that, he has been cast as Puck in the film adaptation of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Jogia's fifth movie for the year is "Paper Year", where he will star alongside Eve Hewson.
