Fans have been hoping that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder would get back together since most believe that they are the real soulmates. However, it has been proven that Somerhalder has moved on now that he is expecting his first child with wife Nikki Reed. Has Dobrev been equally lucky lately? The "Vampire Diaries" actress has posted new photos with a new man.
Nina Dobrev recently shared several photos on Instagram showing the "xXX: Return of Xander Cage" star with two friends and her pet. One image features the man hugging Dobrev, who gushes about him in the caption. "So grateful to have this man in my life," the actress wrote. "Spending time with you is always a wonderful vacation from reality that feeds my soul, and brightens my spirit."
Fans shouldn't get too excited just yet. The man in Nina Dobrev's post is actually Shaman Durek, a "spiritual guide and gifted healer" who has been working with Ian Somerhalder's ex in her journey to enlightenment. There is little doubt that Dobrev's relationship with the shaman is strictly professional although they appear to have a great friendship as well.
Nina Dobrev might be too busy to find herself a man for now. The actress has just completed work on the "Flatliners" remake and is currently filming "Departures", an upcoming film starring Maisie Williams of "Game of Thrones" and "The Space Between Us" actor Asa Butterfield.
