Middleton And Kardashian: Fashion Feud Brewing After Royal Diss?
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and future Queen of England, shockingly declined Kim Kardashian's offer for tea and free Kardashian clothing during Kim's recent trip to London to promote her new clothing line Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins. Apparently, the world's newest royal wants nothing to do with a woman known for trashy reality TV and a public sex tape with Ray J. The National Inquirer's royal insider dished about Kate's reaction to the invite.
"Kate can't stand their style, and from what she knows about their TV show, it's just a bunch of trashy people primping and yelling at each other. She's far too polite to diss Kim to her face, but she's got enough on her plate without having tea with someone like her," the insider told the gossip magazine.
Kim apparently adores Kate's style and was hoping she would wear some of the Kardashian Kollection gear and boost the brand's profile across the pond. "We love her sense of fashion. She could wear our looks and team it with one of her hats," Kim said while promoting the event. Not gonna happen, says the insider.
"The Duchess gets free clothes sent to her every day of the week, and she always sends them back. The royal family is very careful about not being seen to endorse any product. It's just not proper. Quite apart from that, the Kardashian outfits just aren't appropriate for a duchess. Kate wouldn't be caught dead in a Kardashian outfit!" quipped the insider.
Kim's new hubby-to-be Kanye West admires Kate too. He apparently has told Kim she should tone down her make-up and style to go for a more natural look, just like Kate's. Because only a hip-hop superstar can tell his fiancée to look like a woman who dissed her and get away with it.
