Mark Ballas was hospitalized on Monday after being injured in a car accident.

While driving in Los Angeles on June 16, the Dancing With The Stars pro was rear-ended by another vehicle, leading him to seek medical attention.

"We're told Mark was driving on an L.A. street, in the process of turning right, when another car was speeding in his lane, couldn't stop in time and slammed into his back right side," TMZ reported on June 16.

Just one month ago, Ballas suffered an injury to his shoulder during a practice performance for Dancing With The Stars. Following the injury, Ballas was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated and released.

After the car accident on Monday, Ballas complained of whiplash and back pain and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medial Center by his girlfriend. At the hospital, doctors examined Ballas and prescribed him with some pain medication.

Unfortunately for Ballas, doctors informed him that the pain to his back would likely be worse the next day, and on Tuesday, he is scheduled to perform with his band (Ballas is currently on tour and recently released his first album, Get My Name).

At the scene of the crash, the men in the car that hit Ballas' vehicle claimed it was Ballas who caused the crash. However, an eyewitness came forward and told police that he was not at fault and that the other driver had been speeding, causing them to run into the back of Ballas.
