Mark Ballas was reportedly injured during a recent Dancing With The Stars rehearsal.

In the middle of a performance with partner Candace Cameron Bure on Sunday afternoon, Ballas reportedly fell to the ground at the CBS studio where the show is taped.

"Mark was seriously injured during camera blocking," a spokesperson for the show told PEOPLE Magazine on May 18. "His shoulder popped out during a lift and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated and released. It's unclear whether or not he'll be able to perform on Monday's show."

Prior to the injury, Ballas and Bure were in the middle of a dance move, which involved Ballas lifting Bure onto his shoulders. After he fell, fellow dancers Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke, who were at the studio at the time, rushed to his side.

According to PEOPLE, Ballas' co-star urged him to sit out of Monday's finale performance, but Ballas is insisting on dancing. In case he changes his mind, or the injury gets worse, another dancer is learning Monday night's routine and will be ready to fill in.

Shortly after midnight last night, Ballas took to Twitter where he told fans, "Hey y'all. I'm doing alright, thanks for the love."

This marks the second Dancing With The Stars injury for Ballas. Back in 2007, the dancer dislocated his shoulder during a dance rehearsal with his then partner, Sabrina Bryan. Following the injury, Ballas was advised to sit out of performance night but opted to go through with the dance.

Dancing With The Stars' season 18 two-night finale event starts tonight on ABC at 8 p.m.
